Tegniek goed, maar muur is n versperring
Leading the group

I like the action and emotion captured but more so the timing which lead to a well exposed subject standing out from the muted field. The composition is very strong the subject is sharp . I think the author did well.
Lekker op die strand

Interessante tonneel Lig nie so lekker en kon baie nader ingekrop het. Boonste stuk water dra nie by tot foto.
Lion in the grass

Baie mooi foto!
Mier op wurm
by Rensia Fourie
I enjoy this macro and find sharpness and exposure well handled. The argument of hot spots might be knitpicking and I find the story and impact strong enough to qualify for a good mark.

Treffende foto. Good use of post processing
Odin Springer Spaniel
by Rika Schoeman
Goeie poging. Onderwerp is baie goed, maar die agtergrond steur, Portret formaat sou baie beter gewees het!
Pastels
by Renee Storme
Lovely seascape with cool colours. I enjoy the detail in the waves and the action of the bird. I do however feel that the composition is not particularly strong and find a bit too much bright sky and not a strong enough focal point.

Bietjie ligtepunte onder die katlagter
Quivers at golden hour
by Mietsie Visser
Baie mooi foto. Hou van die venusgordel in agtergrond
Scratching
by Tom Prins
This is a nice closeup of this youngster and his sidebend pose makes for a pleasent portrait. It is however a pitty that it is not as sharp as expected. The picture has a hazy appearance and is a slight bit too bright.

Tegnies korrek. Too much bright spots, Subject matter not prominent
The fighters
by Suzy de Beer
Lovely photo of exciting interaction between the two hippos. The action is well captured and has high impact and storytelling value. I feel that this ways a bit more than the exposure concern.
There is no heart beat
by Johan Brits
Daar is emosie en impak, maar voete in agtergrond steur
Vryval

Tegnies perfek. Stadiger sluiterspoed kon dalk meer aksie gewys het.
Woep woep oor die hekkie
by Chris Gouws
Lovely action of this boy doing hurdles. I find the background very prominent and it is clear that post processing blur was added but some flows highlights it. The face expression makes it priceless though.
